We find this blue variety of montipora digitata does best in medium lighting. It likes a good amount current and grows in a large branching pattern. For sps corals / hard corals its one of the easier more forgiving species. We have been growing this without issues for the past 15 years at Fragbox corals. Buying corals that have  a long history of growing in captivity typically will do best in your aquarium as they are tried and tested
