Father dusters are an excellent addition to any reef. They are filter feeding worms that come is a wide variety of colourations and are extremely hardy once acclimated. They have a large radiole (crown) at the tip of the worm that can be retracted into a soft tube for protection. Occasionally they will drop their crown and regrow one over the next couple of weeks. They make their own tube and will reconstruct one if they do not like their current position. It is important that they are added to an established reef tank as they require a developed plankton population for their diet.
