African Orange Leg White Hermit Crab (Calcinus minutus)

A friendly, reef safe hermit crab that make a great addition to any reef aquarium. This scavenging hermit gets its name from its colouration on its legs. Great at eating excess food, detritus and algaes. The Orange leg white hermit crab is a very useful member of your clean up crew helping maintain algae populations and preventing excessive algae growth. They spend most of their waking hours looking for food. Their constant foraging will also help lightly sift your sand bed. If adding to a newly cycled tank make sure their is sufficient algae or be sure to provide supplemental food.
