Coral Frags Starting At $5 ? How Is It Possible

How can it be possible ?! let me explain

about once a month we go through the entire store and collect all the small bits of corals that self frag, they fly off from colonies, grow onto rubble etc

we let them heal and because of their smaller size we can offer them starting as low $5

I remember when I started in the hobby I was 15, broke as broke could be but completely obsessed

3 or 4 x a week I would go to my local LFS looking for small pieces of corals under neath the racks and I would bother the guys at the shop to sell them to me

sometimes they would just give them away, giving no value to a single zoa head or a single baby mushroom but as as broke teen it was like treasure for me

Few things in life at that time brought me greater pleasure then gluing down these small frags and watching them grow, many times I would grow a complete colony from a free or even $5 frag

I would document on nano-reef.com and share what I was doing with others

Anyways I want to share that feeling I got when i was younger and its why we offer these pieces at these prices.
