The Banded Trochus snail is an excellent addition to your clean up crew. They focus on consuming film algae, diatoms and more noteworthy cyanobacteria. It is important to note that they consume lesser amounts of other varieties nuisance algae. They are a more desirable, longer lived, snail as they can right themselves.
