Information
Lobo corals come in a variety of colors, easy to keep, and are great for beginners. A healthy lobo has a fleshy appearance with no skeleton showing. They like moderate to high light with moderate flow. We recommend placing them halfway on rocks in your tank. They do have sweeper tentacles that come out at night, so it is best to leave a bit of space between your lobo and other coral to prevent it from stinging other corals. Feeding is highly recommended for better health and faster growth. Normal weekly broadcast feeding with Reefroids is adequate. They grow by increasing in head size and eventually splitting down the middle, and also by forming new heads from the base of their skeleton. They will grow onto surrounding rocks and eventually form their own skeleton on top of it.
