Bubble Conch (MV3)

Bubble Conch (Euprotomus bulla)

One of the best looking sand bed cleaners you can put in a reef tank. Same working habits as our Strawberry Conch, but with a heavier, glossy cream shell and a bright pink-orange lip that shows off every time it turns over.

Food: Detritus and algae eaters. They plow through the top layer of sand all day with their long trunk-like feeder, picking up film algae, leftover food and organic waste before it can rot and feed nuisance algae.

Care: No special requirements, but they need a sand bed to burrow and forage in. Do not add them to bare bottom tanks. Completely reef safe — they won’t touch corals, clams or anemones.
