Black Belly Eviota Goby

Eviota atriventris – The Black Belly Eviota is an awesome little dwarf goby that has very bright red and fluorescent yellow coloration. They max out just over 1” which makes them ideal for nano tanks, but they’re interesting in large tanks, as well.

Eviota are tiny, reef safe, and peaceful, making them the perfect nano reef citizens. They won’t eat coral or small inverts (except tiny copepods of course). Avoid housing these with larger, more aggressive fish.

Eviota prefer gentle flow and are social fish that will be more active in small groups, but may also be kept singly. They have a similar disposition to neon gobies. These fish typically hang out in rocks or in caves and come out frequently to check their surroundings for food.
