This rare species of LPS is unlike any other. It was once was referred to Acan or Giant Acan because of their similar appearance but has found its new Latin name Homophyllia bowerbanki.  They have some of the most unique color variations and enormous inflated vesicles. Seldom do you find an ‘ugly’ bowerbanki and some of the color patterns will make you question if they are even real. The nicest verities are found on the great barrier reef. They prefer medium flow and low to medium light. They are relatively easy lps corals species to keep in your reef aquarium.  They are normally quiet expensive because of their rarity and prices can skyrocket wit the right colors.
